Wryvals Feeding & Hibernation

A full Wryval is a happy Wryval, and it is important to keep your Wryvals fully fed.

A fully fed Wryval can last three days before it starves. Once it is starving, it will go into hibernation to preserve itself. A hibernating Wryval does not age, but it can also perform no actions including not being able to breed, train, nor perform in tournaments.

If you have to leave the game for a time, hibernation ensures that your Wryvals won’t be old and decrepit when you return. Simply wake them up from hibernation (3 days’ worth of food is required to wake them so that they are fully fed) and you can continue where you left off.

Wryvals that have not been fed for one day after being fully fed will have their performance characteristics weakened when performing in tournaments. Wryvals that have gone two days without food will have their performance characteristics weakened even further. It is important to ensure that you keep your Wryvals fully fed every day for optimum performance.
