Farming
A Wryval has to eat, and boy do they like to eat!
The Farm is the area of your Dojo where you can plant and harvest food to feed your Wryvals. Wryvals must be kept fed, or they will suffer a penalty to their performance characteristics (strength, stamina, agility, and speed) in game tournaments. If a Wryval goes without food for 3 days, they will begin to hibernate. A Wryval can perform no actions while they are hibernating, but they also don’t age.
If you need to take a break from the game (your Wryvals will miss you!), let all of your Wryvals go into hibernation so that they won’t age and become old and decrepit. When you return to the game, wake your Wryvals from hibernation and you can pick up where you left off.
Different food will feed a Wryval varying amounts, but also takes different times to grow. Typically, a crop that takes longer to grow will feed a Wryval for a longer period of time. The table below shows you the types of crops that you can grow, how long they take before being available for harvest, and how long they feed your Wryval.
Food Type | Time To Harvest | Feed For |
---|---|---|
Grapes | 1 Minute | 15 Minutes |
Walnut | 10 Minutes | 1 Hour |
Banana | 30 Minutes | 2 Hours |
Apple | 60 Minutes | 3 Hours |
Pineapple | 6 Hours | 15 Hours |
Watermelon | 12 Hours | 24 Hours |
A single plot of land can support 2 Wryvals if it is planted and harvested twice a day with watermelons. If you are a more active farmer and wish to return to plant and harvest more often, then the number of Wryvals that you can support with a single plot will greatly increase.
You will be given 8 plots of land to start the game and can expand your farm size for in game currency as your Wryval Empire grows.
If you don’t wish to farm, or have run out of food and need to get your hands on some food quickly, already harvested food is available for purchase from the in-game Store.
